We decided to keep using the Reese Sidewinder with the new truck even though we no longer need it with a long bed. I put the trailer on the truck and snapped this photo of it at 90°. The trailer tracks closely and turning is supposed to be sharper with the sidewinder than if it were pivoting at the hitch, and I do believe this to be the case. I was a little worried about clearance with the dually fenders in this configuration but it doesn’t appear to be anything to worry about. At some point I may lock out the pin box and measure the distances for actual comparison.
