Disk Brakes Installed

Finally got around to installing the disk brakes. This is something I’ve been trying to get to for some time, but considered a two person job and didn’t have an assistant to use in the area. I contacted the owner of the company I bought them from to ask if he had any installers in the area, and he arranged to come out and assist me with the install. Since it was an assisted install, rather than a full install, the pricing worked out to be pretty fair. The installer came out and worked on the wiring while I worked on the brake assemblies, and assisted where needed for prying and such.
These look really nice. Far nicer than the rust bucket drums I pulled off.
All said and done, though we haven’t done a road test yet. We tested them in place to make sure the bearings were working properly, then that the brakes were actuating properly when engaged by the truck.
We’re hoping to take it out next weekend and see what kind of difference they make.
