CarPC Install Progress

The CarPC install has been going much slower than I had hoped. I have the PC wired in, but am still working on getting the steering wheel controls to work (the keypresses are recognized, but they all register as the same button), have a faulty button bar on the front (vendor is sending a replacement), have electrical noise coming through the speakers (I suspect due to poor grounding, and will run dedicated ground wires soon), and the dash kit came with two left sides rather than a left and a right. Additionally there are some software issues, but I’ll take care of all of those once I have the dash put back together.

Edit: I was able to get steering wheel controls working after setting the ASWC-1 to Sony/Dual mode.

The dash is currently pulled apart and wiring is all over the place while I get it sorted out.

And finally,this is how I mounted the TM-D710G to the new bezel I will be using:
